Customer Rating: Summary: Henckle Knife Review Comment: I use this knife as an all purpose utility knife.
It is very sharp and holds it's edge.
I do and have recommended this knife to many of my friends
Customer Rating: Summary: Great knife for the money! Comment: I have a Henckels knife myself and bought this one for my mom for Christmas. Great for any kitchen and well worth the money. Make sure you hand wash this knife to make it last.
Customer Rating: Summary: Just a bad, 'wobbly' knife Comment: Very, very disappointed. The blade is too thin, so the knife is not balanced at all. Be careful, you can hurt your self pretty badly.
I am experienced with cooking and normally I do not write reviews or opinions, but here I just HAD TO SPEAK OUT!!
Probably the manufacturer believes that the buyers won't bother themselves for 8 bucks to return it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great for light utility jobs Comment: An inexpensive utility knife suitable for light cutting jobs. I have used it to cut meats, poultry, vegetables, and fruits. The blade is quite thin, so it's easy to hone and sharpen. It holds an edge quite well. Great sidekick to a sturdy chef's knife; when you don't want to pull out the larger knives, and the parer is just too small.

You'll reach for this moderately priced knife for almost any kitchen job, like sandwich-making, that doesn't require a specialized blade. It's shaped like a paring knife (center-tip style, with curved back and edge), only longer. Though this is not Henckels' premier utility knife--it doesn't have a bolster, its blade is thinner and less strong than other models, and its handle is narrower and shallower--it will still get the job done and comes with a lifetime warranty. Hand washing is recommended. --Fred Brack
