When I took it out of the box, it seemed awfully small, not the industrial strength masher I thought I'd ordered. This masher seems to rip through potatoes without having to use much strength. It leaves a creamy rather than chunky potato stream and the head doesn't become mired in a glutinous potato prison. Quick, efficient, it makes silky smooth mashed potatoes easy to produce.
