It's the Bionaire system that may or may not be the best room air filter b/c you have to buy replacment cartridges pretty often. So, in the end, I would've spent more on a filterless system b/c the filter price & machine price are the same when you consider how many filters you end up buying during the life of the machine. While it is conviniently small, it does not do the job of a big air purifier. It works well in small rooms, but the filter needs to be change very often.
