Comment: This is the 2nd product of this type I have purchased. One for my home and one for Camp. When I make tea or coffee, I have only one cup, and don't have to wait forever for the water to boil on the stove. It is also great for heating water for Instant Oatmeal. This is just so convienient. I love it. I would recommend this product to every one.

Summary: Works Good But looks Lousy
Comment: yep does everything it says it will but the color white is so boring i ended up spary painting it silver and although that made it hard to read the buttons a bit since I alraedy knew their location that wasn't a big problem - no the probalem started when i decided that silver was pretty dull as well so i got some enamel water based paint sorta pinkish in color and painted it by brush.
well some of the brush hairs came loose i guess and the next time i used the hot-shot it smelt like burning cow hide and started to smoke so i sent it back to the manufactirer to be replaced and tey refused saying the warrenty did not cover that sort of thinhg and i was so mad but they gave me a ten dollar coupon and i bought a black modelk athat looks better but still pretty dul.
the key to remeber is that these foks need to have better color chouces or if not a much better warrenty.

Comment: There is only one and it is perfect.
Instead of boiling a whole kettle of water the Hot Shot does only a cup, so whether its a quick cup of hot tea, or a bowl of noodles, this does the job and saves time and money.
Great idea, like the light switch it is a must have for any home.
