Customer Rating: Summary: worthy of 4 stars Comment: Being vegan and gluten intolerant, I like the spiral slicer. I have used it for making zuccini noodles and potato "hash browns", and they turned out well. Yes, there is a thin slice of vegetable left afterwords, but if you read the directions and set it all up properly, the design on the vegetable (the zuccini in this case) actually looks pretty, and can be used as an edible garnish. Not worthy of 5 stars, because I feel it is somewhat hard to clean (but that could be just me!), but I still think it is great.
