Each one is adorned with a different sand blasted pattern. My favorite is the spiral - kind of like the cartoon symbol of confusion after being hit over the head. But the execution is not good. The 4 different designs are etched into the glass which should make them stand up over time better. They are the perfect size and shape. I highly recommend spending the extra couple of dollars and getting these quality glasses. Forget washing in the dishwasher, you so much as look the wrong way at these and they break. They are not durable enough to be everyday use and not nice enough to justify taking up storage space as special occasion glasses. I am VERY disappointed in Mikasa, I would never buy from them again. Editorial Reviews: The long pulled stem gives these glasses elegance, but the etched designs are what give them panache. Spirals, stripes, and polka dots distinguish each glass from its sibling. This will help when it comes time for guests to identify their own drink too! Very hip, lots of fun, chin chin!
