Summary: makes great gluten free bread
Comment: I am using this bread machine to make gluten free bread and it makes excellent loafs of bread each time. It is very easy to use, just read the instruction manual first and follow the instructions carefully and it makes perfect bread. Based on reviews that I read before I bought this machine I have been setting the machine on light crust each time and it cooks just right. It is very easy to clean. The display is very easy to read. I recommend this bread machine to everyone, gluten free or not.

Summary: Another one with pan problems
Comment: I bought this because I have other Cuisinart items that I like. I was a bit worried about the comments with the pan not staying in but figured it couldn't be too bad as my 16 year old Panasonic didn't even have anything to hold it down, it just dropped in and worked. Boy, was I wrong- after a month my wife could get it to hold in place after about 5 minutes of fiddling around. Now, neither of us can get it to stay, I force the end of the handle through one of the hold down holes and leave it at that. Not great but it kind of works. Otherwise, I am happy with everything else about it but I'm afraid I'm advising not to buy one, it's definitely not worth the hassle.

Summary: Perfect results every time
Comment: I've had this machine for over a year now and I've made a lot of different types of bread in it; pre-made mixes and recipes from the instruction booklet and recipes from cookbooks. It has never failed me in any way.
I suppose the biggest difference between this unit and the previous bread machines that I've owned is that I treat the baking pan the same way I treat my knives. I don't put it in the dishwasher, ever.
The other thing I like about this machine is the audible alert to remove the paddle (if you're around to hear it). This makes for a much nicer loaf which is much easier to remove from the pan.
I suppose I'll be making bread with this thing for a lot of years because it's built like a tank.

Summary: Best Bread from Bread Machine
Comment: I have owned two bread machines prior to buying this one--which is used. I have made bread four times (Simple French recipe) and I've not been disappointed. The only drawback is when I take it out of the pan it wants to stick (because it's crusty). I use a knife to loosen it up around the edges and sort of turn it upside down and pound it out. You MUST take out the paddle before the last rise or it ruins the bottom half of the bread. The convection oven makes it nice and crispy! The flavor and texture is the best I've had from a bread machine. I make homemade bread too and of course it's better, but when I need to save time this is second best. I only use bread machine yeast and bread flour (Gold Medal is best). I mix the salt and flour together before adding and I put a little dip or well in the center to add the yeast.
I'm very happy with the machine.

Summary: Bread Pan stuck so cant use or return bread machine
Comment: I really enjoyed using the bread machine for the first month and a half than the bread pan got stuck, and I could not use the machine. I called cuisinart who said I need to return it where I bought it and amazon has only a 30 day return policy. So now I have a broken bread machine.
