Comment: I got one for the office and liked it so much I bought one for home. This is the BEST single-serve coffee out there and I've tried several.

Comment: Got it last week and just love it. Yes we still make a pot of coffee in the morning with our other machine but this machine is great for a quick cup any time of the day. We turn the machine off after we brew our cups and it still takes less than a minute to fire it up when you are ready for another. I use the large cup setting and the coffee is strong enough for me. I can't believe how fast it makes the coffee and I can't believe how delicious the coffees are! Yes the coffee is a bit pricey but if my husband went to the local coffee shop, it would cost between $1.50 - $3.50 a cup and that doesn't include the fuel to get there, and I think this coffee is better (Breakfast Blend is my favorite). We look forward to trying a new coffee in the afternoon and, after dinner, the decaf is great.
We just wish we had gotten one a long time ago. It will also be great when we travel in the RV. We signed up for the auto delivery and it couldn't be more convenient, plus you save money on the K cup price and shipping is free.

Comment: I'm a coffee nut, and though I prefer grinding my own beans and using my Capresso 10 cup, sometimes a single cup is all you need. And in that respect, this unit works beautifully. It is simple to use, quick to make coffee and clean up is a snap.
Basically you life the lid, add the pod or K-Cup, close and press brew. Water is stored in a reservoir that is enough to make about 12 cups of coffee. When you brew the water is extracted, heated and pressed thorough the k-cup and into your waiting drinking vessel.
I primarily use this in my office, as making one cup of fresh coffee at a time is preferrable to making a pot that may sit there for hours and grow stale. There are also teas and chocolates available. Try getting your regular coffee pot to make hot chocolate.
The negative of this is that it is relatively difficult to get coffee. Places like Wal-Mart or your local food store usually won't carry the k-cups. Instead you will have to go to the store where you purchased it. Of course Amazon.com carries a wide assortment of k-cups.
Also the cups are pretty pricey when compared to ground or even whole bean. About .60 or so a cup.
But for the convenience of one cup at a time, this is one of the better pod units out there. It delivers a steaming hot cup of coffee (or tea or chocolate), quickly and efficiently and without mess.

Summary: Great Father's Day Present
Comment: Haven't have coffee in residence in a long time. Wife and two kids, I am the only one who has a cup of joe, so for the past 10 or so years i have been regulated to drinking coffee at work. I know, what a sad life.
Got this bad boy for Father's Day and my life has been rejuvenated.
No mess, one cup of good coffee. It's so easy to use, my kids want to make me coffee.
(I strongly suggest Black Tiger if you like it strong).
Even makes hot chocolate (and teas) which was a big plus for my family, who like coffee and tea.
Unless you are making coffee for a room for a people, this is the way coffee should be made.

Summary: Coffee not strong enough
Comment: I have used the commercial version Keurig at my work for years. While not quite the caliber of a good coffeehouse brew, I find it more than adequate and convenient.
I finally decided to buy the home version. The strength of the brew, even for the smallest cup size, was too watery for me. I tried different coffee varieties including "borrowing" a few of the Extra Bold varieties from my work. It just didn't cut it for me.
If you are okay with a semi-weak brew, this may be the machine for you. I found it to be very well built. It is noisy but only for a few seconds per brew.
