Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Love that Bissell! Comment: I bought the 9200 ProHeat 2x on August 15, 2008. The next day I proceeded to clean my beige rug, which did have spots on it that I tried cleaning up this past year with spot remover. I was amazed how this machine cleaned my rug beautifully. Aside from those spots, the rug did not LOOK dirty, but the water in the dirty water tank was filthy! Yesterday I used the upholstery attachment on my two sofas and they look great-again, very filthy water. Mind you, looking at the 12 yr old sofas you'd not think they were dirty. So, I love my Bissell! I read the reviews here carefully and did not have any problems myself. Any inconveniences are already mentioned in other reviews, but I don't mind the extra work for a clean rug and upholstery. So, don't always believe the bad ratings. See for yourself like I did. I was prepared to take it back to the store if it did not meet my satisfaction, but I am satisfied how it cleans and how it DOES heat up the water 25 degrees more like it says. Customer Rating: Summary: Love it 100% Comment: I love this machine I have had it about 3 to 4 yrs. It is the best machine out there all the other one's do not compare. Tryed them and they do not compare. I have toddlers that make messes you could not even imagine. This machine does it all. Sofa's, carpet, even, bare floors for those oops i dropped the milk or koolaid. Even paint from people who came in to repair a wall and dropped a bucket of paint onto my carpet used it right away and it came out!!!!! By the way walmart sells an off brand of cleaning solution that works great and is cheaper. There is more expensive model above this one the attachments are better than this one however the price on this one is much more affordable. You can always buy the attachments for this later and save money. Customer Rating: Summary: Stopped Spraying Solution! Comment: I purchased this piece of junk for a friend so she could clean her carpets. After using it a few times it decided to stop spraying. Now all it can do is vacuum the floor and it is not very good at that either. My Hoover carpet cleaner does a mediocre job but at least it continues to work after 8 years! No problems. Less than a year later, tried to use for a second time and it won't release water or solution. Tried all Bissell's tricks. Customer service didn't help.
