NEW F¿ri Guard antimicrobial inhibitors are incorporated directly and permanently into the Gusto-Grip handles during the manufacturing process, giving the handle an added safeguard against microorganisms that can degrade the handle materials over time.
Each knife has a solid forged bolster and tang constructed from one piece of the superior German CrMov stainless steel alloy. The handle is pressed into the thick tang and then a stainless steel counterweight is pressed into the tail for perfect balance.

Comment: I got these for free when purchasing my pot set...but, i don't think any knife set is worth this kind of money. Nice packaging, and could make for a very nice partial wedding gift though, being as i haven't even touched them yet.

Comment: I absolutely love this set of knives. The wooden case it arrives in is very nice and professional looking. The best part is the actual sharpness of both knives and the wonderful grip handle on them both. You never feel as if the knife is slipping and they cut so well. I had always heard let the knife do all the work, don't press so hard and it is very true with these knives. I recommend these knives for any home cook or professional.
